Poem for Best

In the midst of my affliction
There you came as a remedy
To my empty soul
Up to my unhealthy heart
A pretty picture of you
Fills the emptiness in me
Your charming little eyes
Tells there’s no room for tears
Your everyday smiles
Shows me the brighter sides of life
The word friend really fits for you
I got more than my share
A piece of you who is always there
Though I haven’t done a lot for you
Inside you was an angel
Who lends me the wings
Which I used to fly high
Into the clouds of my dreams
You keep a failure as a treasure
Not regrets and it’s a pleasure
You show me the way to my desires
And squeeze me out of silence
For me I’m the richest
Because God gave me the best
Thank you for coming into my life
I wish our friendship lasts
Though forever really don’t exist
