Last night I visit one of my favorite forums to look for the latest software and I check their thread bout fun stuff and I found this:








Isn't this great?.. Food carving. How I wish I have hands capable of doing this. Patience is needed in doing this kind of art.

First Love - McDonalds commercial

Of all the ads I've seen on TV, this is the best. The MCDO team hits where it really hurts and I love it!


It is unique from the others. Well, I seldom go to MCDO for a float but my hands are all for the people involved in this ad. Good job for the MCDO team to come up with this ad. It pisses me off every time I see it on TV coz it makes me wanna go "Ouch!!!". It is the most bittersweet commercial ever. A romantic story that started at McDonalds between the two child. The guy in the story narates the things that he remebered everytime he goes to McDonalds. He reminisce the first time he met a girl whom he thinks he have known for a long time. The girl used to be a daughter of his mom's friend. They share the same favorites - the cool dipping of the fries on the sundae, "Hmm...Yummy". A way through the ending, the little girl take his hand and the story jumps few years later where they are both grown up around 25 years old I guess. The guy still wear his glasses and the girl grown so beautiful. The girl drags him to his family. "Ouch!", the girl is already married to other guy. You'll heard the guy said "Tapos biglang.." a very melting scene happen. Then the guy shares a table with his first love's family. The guy says "at kahit hindi rin naging kami sa huli, siya pa rin ang first love ko.."(and eventhough we did not end up together..she'd still be my first love). And again the guy shows the "fries and sundae tandem" and looks at the girl saying through his eyes that he still love her. The girl smiles at him but i think behind it was a regret.

Ouch of all the world for that guy. The bitterness of life takes place. You dont always acquire the things you ought to have. The commercial is just a minute short but it would take a long time to heal the hearts that it touches. Honestly, "my tears fall the very first time I saw it". Huhu..I just remembered a quite the same scenario from the past about my first love. T_T

My new blog look

Finally, I'm done with the new layout for my blog. It is a painful one to create an html for this. It was a challenging one because I'm out for web designing for a long time. I've been creating web pages since 3rd year high school. Basically, I'm using notepad for this with the aid of some software like coffecup, webpagemaker and adobe dreamweaver. I started with a simple yet cool looking abstract banner with my blog name on it. I apply my flash making skills by adding a simple introduction at the main page of my blog. On the main page of my blog was a lot of stuff. I put up the blog rules, my poems, my wishlist, an IPod and a chatbox. Of course a piece of twilight must be in my blog so I put up a script for the message reader on the top right of the page and a status bar shout out of lines from the book of Twilight. I choose some of my favorite lines from the book.

On the profile link was a long one, what I mean is a did a lot of effort for it describing the entire me. It also reminds me the things from the past and included some facts about myself and my top fives like bands, music, artists etc. I used a flash file as my main picture just to be different ^^. As you can see, used a cute rice ball image as my border. It was taken from ClaireBelton.com. I love cute stuffs but I guess it doen't fit my layout but then I'm not removing it ^^.

The next was of course my entries. Well it was just like the old one but now I add the rice balls on the top and a 2 cute stuff kissing at the bottom. Is this gurly? Please let me know haha.

Next thing are the blog links. I call my blogfriends as my bandmates. I created a paper in photoshop and put their names one by one and have it mapped through coffecup software. There you can see a bunch of talents lol. I just assign them to different instruments and I hope they play that one. You can find a vocalist, a rapper, guiatarist, a drummer, a bassist etc. If you think you have what it takes to be my bandmember show me your skills link me first lol ^^.

And lastly, I shouldn't forget this thing, to show some gratitude to my sources in creating this layout. I included there the softwares that I used and the site were I have taken the tweaks and some stuffs.

Break is over

Whoa… vacation is over. The long Christmas break finally comes to an end. The vacation was enough for me. I was involved in four outings with my high school friends and my relatives. A party here, party there. A disco here, disco there. Today is the continuation of my unfinished business. I’ll be back to school for the second semester. Many tasks are left undone for me. The first day of school in 2009 welcomes me a bunch of write ups to be passed and exams to be faced. I’m tired to get up but then I miss going to school though for me it was the same thing over and over. Meet my instructor, eat at 7/11, sleep in class, play DOTA my friends in the computer shop, and back to home. A six times a week routine that I would be doing for less than two years I guess. I don’t know if I could still remember my schedule and my rooms. I hope my classmates still remembers me though I’m not the type of person to be remembered at all. How I wish that they noticed me when I’m not around.

I am wearing a red t-shirt today because they said it’s my lucky color for the people born at the year of snake and I paired it with skinny jeans. I got my hair cut for a change; I miss my bangs T_T. Got my new 2009 planner to shape all things that I would be doing. I carry myself with a sleepy feeling. I sleep early last night but I still feel the comfort of my pillow. I hope this would stop when I’m at school. I don’t want to start my day caught sleeping inside the classroom.
